Our feelings help us if we accept them exactly for what they are - Guides. What feelings arise in you when you listen to the music in the video?

Three ways of dealing with feelings:

We avoid the emotion

We avoid to relax and feel

We distract ourselves with activities.

We push away the feeling.

We don't dare to feel.

We think that feelings are a nuisance.

We deny feelings.

We shut down.

We escape into various addictions and abuses.

Emotions control us

Emotions take over and control our lives.

They can come from nowhere.

The impulses are felt and take over our lives.

They overwhelm us.

They run away with us.

They surprise us.

They ride us.

They determine how we act and behave.

We accept the emotion

We stop, calm down, relax and get in touch with our feelings.

We accept that we feel the way we do.

We put words to the feeling.

We draw a picture of how it feels.

We express the feeling in some way.

We use our breath to help us.

We know that the feelings guides us.

We seek help from friends and professionals when needed.

Emotional scale in frequency

Our emotions vibrate at different frequencies. The lowest frequency is Guilt, which is between 0-20 Hz, and it continues higher and higher, with Enlightenment at its highest at 700+ Hz. Is it the emotions that determine what frequency we are on, or is it the other way around - the frequency determines what we feel? That is a question we can ponder.
